SOS tends to get too "cute" with his playcalling at times, and it definitely cost him tonight.

This was the worst Tennessee defensive effort I've seen in 20 years from any UT defense not coached by Sal Sunseri, but they certainly stepped up big on the last series in regulation and in overtime. Because they finally dialed up the blitz at the end of the game and it was beautiful! :hi5:This was the worst Tennessee defensive effort I've seen in 20 years from any UT defense not coached by Sal Sunseri, but they certainly stepped up big on the last series in regulation and in overtime. Yeah, but we hadn't exactly shut down their run, either. They were already on the edge of FG range. They take it between the tackles there and worst case scenario (for them) is we stop them for no gain, and they still have a FG try to put the game away. Best case, they get four yards and the game's over. Instead they tried to pass, took the sack, had to punt, and the rest is history.
