Title: Upon further review (1st quarter)
Post by: PirateVOL on November 02, 2014, 05:45:34 EST
Pearson absolutely whiffes on a block on the first fly sweep (never laid a finger on the guy, result a blown up play.

The first bad play I attributed to Gilliam was really the RG

Nice wheel route by Pearson on the fake fly sweep

3rd down play after the Dobbs non fumble, Gilliam got beat, result in lost yardage.  Ellis, on the wing with a nice block.  This play, more than the 4th down play stopped the drive.
It would appear that Wolf blew the 4th down

The pick was a) a good play by McNeil who seemed to know what was coming and b) a very bad bad pass
BTW the block in the back by Randolph was a BS call, period. dot.  Thought so live, thought so after the stadium replay and now know so after watching the DVR.

(Creek, YAC?  Lost count, a LOT in the first quarter alone)

Wolf's guy that almost blew up Pigs reverse for a tD, just his speed allowed him to score.  Wolf was running a pass route?

225:  R-M with a missed tackle
2:05 Randolph in the backfield for a tackle
1:20 Coleman with another blown coverage, inside technique, seemed glued to the ground
1:10 in zone, safeties slow to react (ditto all night long)
:15 AJ covered the wrong gap
