Ole Miss, Alabama, SC x2. It actually worked out Saturday night, but we didn't take advantage of it.We had the momentum from scoring at the end of the half and got the ball first, and should have got points of that initial drive. BTW, the wind was a quartering headwind going North. It looked like on that first attempt that Medley allowed for the wind to blow the ball right, as it should have (and did for the poor SC kick in the first half) but in this instance you could see the wind moving it left - weird as he hit the ball well. The 2nd miss was just a bad kick. For reference, in warmups Medley was hitting with ease from 51 into the North. Bullock was barely getting the ball to the goalpost from that distance. Obviously it worked out, but come on, man. I saw the same mistake the previous week in another game that went to OT. The ref gets confused because for a normal coin toss the team that chooses the end of the field for the kickoff puts its back toward that end of the field. In OT, because the winner always picks defense, the loser of the toss should be facing the end of the field it wants to play offense on. Refs, like most of us, are creatures of habit.
