It's going to be tough. They look pretty good tonight.

In terms of being a team that knows how to win, I have to agree.  But...Tamu is pitiful on D, and their offense was aided considerably by Auburn blunders last week.  Which is to say, while Mizzou has a pretty good D, they still gave up 27 to Tamu and I think we can move the ball on them.  I have no doubt we can contain their O...Mauk is pathetic.  Key will be to see how Dobbs and company do against an upper tier defense. IMO....

Even my husband, the eternal pessimist, thinks we can beat Mizzou. He says they aren't good at stopping the run.   :dunno:

They have a pretty good pass rush,UT's offense needs to scheme against that and make them pay for it..Not just with Dobbs taking off and running with it..He's done great so far but don't want him taking too many hits and getting hurt..Hurd has come of age now and is a warrior..Establishing the run early is key.Screen and shovel passes to Hurd will help slow down the outside rush..Need to get the ball out quick to our best play makers,i.e Pig,Pearson and Hurd and mix up some play action and misdirection and keep the tempo fast and not let them sub freely but most of all taking care of the ball..This will be a close game imo and who ever turns the ball over the most will most likely end up with the "L"
