Title: Just watched a Periscope of the team entering the stadium for walkthrough
Post by: Black Diamond Vol on September 05, 2015, 04:16:57 EDT
They've painted the Power T at midfield, but the endzones will apparently still have the blue Titans logos tomorrow.  That's pretty cheap, IYAM.  :frown:

Well, the Titans played last night, and don't play again until next week.  Who else plays there?  TSU?

When I read earlier today that they aren't changing out the Titans logos in the end zones, my first reaction was, "Wait, what?" Then I thought, heck, if the groundskeepers at Nissan Stadium or whatever they're calling it these days are anything like the team, they don't know where to find the end zones.

Well here's what I read... Tennessee was allowed to paint the T at midfield because the logo area will be re-sodded before the Titans' home opener anyway. TSU plays here Sunday and will probably paint over it for their game then.

We could have painted the end zones, but would have had to pay for those to be re-sodded.
