There are actual fans that says the Gruden deal was DONE.....it was ready to be signed and delivered and Hart axed it....They really believe that on other sites. There was an epic troll on VN that was getting tons of hits and likes, claiming to know top alumni and have absolute knowledge it was a done deal. Turns out he was 100% FOS. Which I already knew. No way in HELL does Gruden give up a soft cushy $6-8 million job to take a FREAKING PAY CUT to coach college football, which he has never done, and have to deal with recruiting, rebuilding the mess Dooley left, and ... oh yeah, a highly irrational fan base. The funny thing is, as soon as it became apparent Gruden wasn't coming the same troll started some other rumor, but not surprisingly no one believed him. Or, considering that it was VN, maybe it is surprising. :dielaughing: |
