Does anyone realize if we don't lose double-digit leads in 3 games -- if Aaron Medley hits an easy FG vs. Oklahoma, if we stop a 4th-and-13 at Florida, perhaps if Preston Williams doesn't fumble and we don't have a cheap penalty on a punt return vs. Arkansas, along with coaching blunders all along the way -- we would be among the top 10 teams in America and being talked about as a dark horse candidate for the playoffs at this point?

I'm not sure if that should make us feel better or worse. It represents how close this program is to turning the corner, but it also represents squandered opportunity.

Careful Creek....I went there last year and almost got crucified by some of the board members....we must let the cards fall where they fall.... :dielaughing:

That's one way to look at it. And believe me, I have.

But another way is that perhaps we were a little over-hyped and we are now exactly what we were going to be.

Either way, Ripley is right. It is what it is and now we move forward. Hopefully, successfully.

And I just missed the Powerball lottery by six numbers... Damn.

It means we're a much better team than our record indicates.

figured 1 of the 2 OU or FL we win, serious and the FG in UF was just outside-make a play on D and mute point.

Arky was a game that did not fit us with the down hill running and the ol that was older-bigger and OL loves to run block-bend the facemask so to speak. 

I still think we are closer to 1 more win and that would have me as happy.

OU & UF,  yes.   Arky just flat whupped us.

No way. Our offense wasn't able to move the football effectively, because Dobbs was either limited physically or his coaches limited him out of fear of that, and that was the difference. Even still, if Preston Williams doesn't fumble the ball inside the 10-yard-line and a cheap penalty doesn't negate a punt return for a TD, Tennessee wins the game.

It was very close.  Worst effort of the three losses though.

Well, let me restate--we definitely could have won, but in no way did we deserve to win.  Arky was the best team on that day, especially on offense.  I thought the best team lost both OU and UF.

I agree with that.

It all came down to luck. They got the lucky bounces. :thumbdown:

If "ifs and buts" were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry Christmas..lol I agree,we were close but still have a way to go..All I can say now is Beat Bama! :powert: :thumbup:
