I put him in the same classification as Howard Baker (which is fitting, of course, since he was a Baker protege). They just don't make Republicans like the two of them anymore, and that's a shame.

Had the opportunity to meet him when I worked as a volunteer for his senatorial campaign. He was larger than life - literally - near 6'5" and had a hugely magnetic personality. He will definitely be missed. |
