It tells three individuals that the administration and staff are "all in" for next year

And other implications involving who coaches where.

Shoop is by trade a secondary coach.  Jancek was an LBs coach.

Does Shoop shift to LBs, or is Willie Martinez going to be an odd man out and an LBs coach hired and Shoop continue to work with DBs?

Be interesting to see if any more coaching personnel movement happens.

That was my BTL comment on Brice's column, though the comments he referenced were more pointed.

I was referring to 23/7, 21 and 6

After seeing their draft grades, I think all 3 were probably coming back anyway.  Still, this can't hurt.

I still believe that Kamara will go ahead and enter the draft.  The shelf life of a running back in the NFL is so short, plus he's not likely to increase his draft position considerably by coming back and splitting time with Hurd another year.  And add to it that he has been at 3 different schools in 3 years, so he's not likely to be anywhere near in credit hours where he needs to be to graduate in 4 years, so that's not likely a factor.

Of the 3, I still see him as the one most likely to go.

That's been out there for a couple of days now.  Love to see it happen.

with his grade, he might not get drafted at all.  IMO better to stay
