can't win the big one. Chokes under pressure. Broncos (and Giants) are in his head.

Nice stat at the end...Peyton is now 3-2 against Brady in the playoffs.

What do people always say about Peyton?  He's great in the regular season but his playoff record sucks?

Well, now the same is true of his "rivalry" with Brady.   :naughty:

I put rivalry in quotes because it's not really a Peyton-Brady contest, it's a Colts/Broncos-Patriots thing,  but if people are going to track the record, it's worth pointing out that Peyton won more when it counted.

Yep...Peyton is 3-1 against him in the playoffs

Postgame they said Brady was hit 20 times......Most hits on a QB all season.

On further review, Colts lost to Patriots in 2003 and 2004, Colts won in 2006, Broncos beat Patriots in 2014 and 2016.

So.....3-2 it is.

I think it's 3-2 in the playoffs, but 3-1 in AFC Championship games.

I listened to that station last night for a couple of hours.  Had the sound turned down on the Panthers/Cardinals since that was such a blowout, but I regress.

What I heard was the biggest bunch of whining this side of Bammer and/or Kliempsein when they lose.  Everybody and everything was to blame for the loss, and the Patriots are still the best team in football, hands down, to the hosts and callers.

Pretty pathetic.

But I enjoyed every second of it.   :naughty:

It's pretty clear that divide between Manning and Brady fractures between players (both current and former) and media.  Manning clearly has much more respect among his peers than he does from the talking heads.  Just look at all the trash talk thrown Brady's way from Denver's defense last week (and thank God they backed it up).  When is the last time you EVER heard a player talk like that about Manning?  Even after that debacle of a Super Bowl against Seattle, Sherman and the rest of their trash-talking players had nothing but respectful things to say.

But the Jim Romes and Skip Baylesses of the world, who have never set foot on a field in a competitive sense, they're all about tearing down.

I've noticed that whenever I read a NE blog, the guy is the biggest homer and seems to be taking great pains to avoid hurting the fan's egos.  For instance, the decision to not take the ball in the OT game against the Jets late in the season was framed as "Why Bellicheat's decision to defer was correct".

I could go on, but the bottom line is that Bellicheat, Brady, and the Patsies are perfect and the only way they lose is by luck or a conspiracy of the rest of the league, and ... oh yeah, they never cheated, that's just jealousy.

Their fanbase is apparently composed of nothing but thirteen year old girls on their first period.   :dielaughing:
