Title: We let Dobbs be Dobbs, which is a good thing Post by: BanditVol on September 11, 2016, 06:24:39 EDT Jack Jones made a big difference on the OL (why did it take so long? :dunno:).
Hope Chance Hall gets back sooner rather than later, that will help even more. It seems the OL is much better at run blocking than pass protection, which, as i understand it, are two pretty different things. Let's just go ahead and be run-oriented, it seems work. And as a bonus, Satan's team often struggles against up-temp offenses featuring a running QB. :naughty: Title: Re: We let Dobbs be Dobbs, which is a good thing Post by: PirateVOL on September 11, 2016, 06:27:43 EDT Jack Jones made a big difference on the OL (why did it take so long? :dunno:). Oh and if Wolf does his job Kamara doesn't get blown up Title: Re: We let Dobbs be Dobbs, which is a good thing Post by: Tnphil on September 11, 2016, 10:08:11 EDT The OL is not good at blocking, PERIOD. Oh and if Wolf does his job Kamara doesn't get blown up Spot on!!!! The next time our OL looks like a average OL will the first time this season. Right now...today, if our OL doesn't improve A LOT.....we are a 3-4 loss team which would be coaching malpractice. Oh and if Wolf does his job Kamara doesn't get blown up Yes, the blowup of Kamara was completely on wolf. The OL played better after Jones came in. Still a long way to go, but lots better IMO. This was pretty clear on TV, maybe not so much from East Sullivan County where your seat was. :naughty: Based on Butch's references last week and yesterday to OL depth, I can only imagine that Hall will help tremendously. People seem to be forgetting that both Hall and Jones had a large impact as true frosh last year starting in the UGa game when they came in for injured starters. I am still not sure why Jones was ever benched, but we need Hall back. |
