Title: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: murfvol on October 01, 2016, 08:41:45 EDT Let's put this one away early, but mainly, let's just win.
Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: BanditVol on October 01, 2016, 08:42:21 EDT Let's go Vols!
Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: PirateVOL on October 01, 2016, 09:45:36 EDT Good defense!
Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: volsboy on October 01, 2016, 09:50:40 EDT Let's give them a steady dose of Hurd today.
Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: volsboy on October 01, 2016, 10:02:22 EDT Why Oh Why do they have to come out so tight every game. Why is it an issue every week?
Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: murfvol on October 01, 2016, 10:11:30 EDT Oh well, Jumper slow to react there. Gotta score points anyway to win. Let get some offense.
Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: volsboy on October 01, 2016, 10:12:42 EDT Not worried. We see this every week. Just baffling as to why.
Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: RIPLEYVOL on October 01, 2016, 10:40:05 EDT WTF HURD?
Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: volsboy on October 01, 2016, 10:57:40 EDT Just one question and I'll leave it alone....is this Vols team better or worse than you thought it would be. I honestly do not know. Can't tell by the competition we've played, we've not played a "good" team yet. Seems we want to play down to our opponents level. :dunno:
Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: volsboy on October 01, 2016, 11:05:50 EDT No way they should get beat by this QB. Should have him shaking in his boots. Hope they get going. I really get tired of having to have a great second half comeback. But I'll not imply it's on the coaching.

I really get tired of having to have a great second half comeback. But I'll not imply it's on the coaching. Sheena Easton (dawg QB) hadn't done a dam thing really. They have just been having success running the ball. They are taking advantage of us having both linebackers out. Having said that, I have never seen so many broken tackles by Vols in my life. They need to wrap up already. Shoop has made great halftime adjustments. I think we got caught a bit off guard by all the running by uga. Should be an interesting 2nd half. Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: PirateVOL on October 01, 2016, 11:26:19 EDT I think I'l stay out of his thread ... :wtf:
Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: Coupe De VOL on October 01, 2016, 11:29:58 EDT WTF HURD? That one hurt bad, bad, bad. Just a bonehead play, and he knew it. Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: VinnieVOL on October 01, 2016, 11:32:54 EDT Our vaunted DL getting blown up by a mediocre OL.
Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: Coupe De VOL on October 01, 2016, 11:45:23 EDT That one hurt bad, bad, bad. Just a bonehead play, and he knew it. WAY TO GO HURD! That certainly helps to make up for earlier! ;-) Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: Coupe De VOL on October 02, 2016, 12:22:59 EDT Bitchin' Kamara! Bitchin' Kamara! doughnuts on my lawn! :dude: :wow: :loco: :run:  :bowrofl:
Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: BanditVol on October 02, 2016, 01:20:42 EDT Our vaunted DL getting blown up by a mediocre OL. Nah. It's just that Uga always has 3-4 deep talent at RB (they love to go to Hershel U) and our LBs are not the starters. We adjusted pretty well in the second half, I think. Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: BanditVol on October 02, 2016, 01:27:52 EDT Just one question and I'll leave it alone....is this Vols team better or worse than you thought it would be. I honestly do not know. Can't tell by the competition we've played, we've not played a "good" team yet. Seems we want to play down to our opponents level. :dunno: Answer. In some ways better (D a bit better, passing game lots better), in some ways worse (running game just a bit less good than anticipated, run D suspect at times), but... Bottom Line: I did not expect to be 5-0. At alll. So...BETTER. All that matters is the Ws. I get sick of hearing the mindlessly repeated "thar ernt ner sich thang as a mural victry". So...THERE AINT NO fizzleING THING AS A MORAL LOSS!!!!!! Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: murfvol on October 02, 2016, 01:49:38 EDT Murfvol may, or may not have gone mountain biking during the second half so as to miss being saddened by viewing a loss. He returned to find a collection of text messages. Now he is relegated to referring to himself in 3rd person.

Title: Re: Game Thread: Georgia Post by: murfvol on October 02, 2016, 03:18:22 EDT I hope he at least recorded it. He is watching bits when Louisville/ Clemson isn't live. It's still stressful. Which makes it all that much more satisfying. :naughty: |
