Is that really a surprise, given that he has pretty much stayed away from them since his injury? 

Not really a surprise that he feels that way.  Many if not most fans (and probably most of his teammates) agree.  But the fact that he would publish it in a video is a bit surprising.   :crazy:

21 year-olds may not make the best public relations decisions, particularly when there's no one to threaten stadium stairs at 6 AM.

And now apparently Hoke has kicked him off the team?  Can Hoke even do this?  And if so, can the next coach bring him back? :rant:

He's done, gone, won't be back.  Hoke and Currie dismissed him from the program.

I really hope the next coach can reverse this decision.  SOME punishment is warranted, for sure- maybe suspend him for the Vandy game and next year's opener.  But he didn't break any laws here.  He just badmouthed a staff that is 4 days from being out the door anyway.  Jennings is the rare alpha on a team full of betas, and we need more like him.  Bring him back. :banghead:

What in the world?  :wow: He wanted to play against Vandy?  :frown: Why would he want to do that? Not a good look for Jennings. I'm guessing he did more not on video. What a shizzle show!

Why not just suspend him indefinitely and let the new coach sit down with him to talk, and let him have some input on whether he wants JJ or not???

If you let them all do that and continue to play---you won't have a team
a lack of discipline has been a big part of the teams failure.

If he was not the impact player that he has shown he can be, there is no outrage over the dismissal. Therefore, imo, there should be no outrage.

I understand that you have to kick a player off the team for insubordination. But here is another thought. Hire a coach that does not lie to and belittle players. When you make the claim that you are doing things to support the players, why not support the players instead of a coach that is a bully.

Discipline also requires respect. Respect is a two way street that involves trust. How can you place trust and respect in a liar and a bully?

There's a lot more to this story that won't come out unless Jennings decides to come clean because of federal privacy laws.  This wasn't his first issue.  Just his last.  

And insubordination is a serious thing.  Try saying stuff on social media about your superiors similar to what Jennings did and see how long you last.

And before you say "he's just a kid", no, he's not.  He's 21 and in his third year in the program.  It's not like he is an 18 year old first semester freshman.  

I'm not fan of Hoke, y'all know how I felt about his MAC level former head coach, but this one is on Jennings.  

Jones did not cause all the problems we have. And certainly not this problem.

Helluva talent, but he wouldn’t be the first one to waste it. Lotta parallels with James Banks.
