Title: Interesting that most of the schools named in the FBI investigation this week... Post by: Black Diamond Vol on February 24, 2018, 06:14:05 EST ...have already conducted their own "exhaustive internal investigations" and declared all the players and coaches in question as good to go and eligible to play for the rest of the season (Except for Arizona. Arizona's fizzleed.). I read that as them saying, "We've already played 80% of the season with these guys, so if we're wrong, we're screwed anyway. Might as well keep them out there and hope for the best." It's looking like this year's NCAAT is going to be a total sham. If a Duke or UNC or Villanova or any of the other named schools end up winning, they'll almost certainly end up having that title stripped in the future.
BTW, for everyone who didn't like Barnes, because he wasn't a "sexy hire" and/or "can't recruit", how are you feeling about him right about now? :naughty: Title: Re: Interesting that most of the schools named in the FBI investigation this week... Although I should say, my source is just the scroll at the bottom of ESPN, which said Arizona "reiterated it's October statement on Miller". That could just mean they are stalling a bit. |
