Title: Did the UK win today put us in, at worst, 4th place in the SEC? Post by: JeffCountyVolFan on February 25, 2018, 05:02:19 EST If I'm reading things correctly, there are only four 7-loss teams in the conference. If those four, we hold the head-to-head advantage over two of them (UK & UF).
That should guarantee the double bye in the SECT, correct? Or am I missing something? Title: Re: Did the UK win today put us in, at worst, 4th place in the SEC? Supposedly our win clinched a top 4 seed, even before UK played. Title: Re: Did the UK win today put us in, at worst, 4th place in the SEC? Must be that schedules dictated that at least two of the four 7-loss teams with tie-breaker advantage on us would be eliminated by the end of the season? It was because although prior to the UK game, 3 teams were alive who could tie us and had the tie breaker, 2 of them play each other next week. It dont matter now though  |
