Title: Hello Vols Post by: CoachTony on September 19, 2018, 01:27:14 EDT I hope everyone is doing well. Please do not pummel us Saturday.
Thanks, Tony PS. I miss Revolver. Title: Re: Hello Vols Post by: VinnieVOL on September 19, 2018, 04:59:58 EDT Hey Tony, you coming to Knoxville?
Title: Re: Hello Vols Post by: CoachTony on September 19, 2018, 05:06:39 EDT I am not - we were planning on going to Nashville for the Vanderbilt game but decided to take it easy on away games this season.
I think that has been part of the drop off in Gator fans travelling to Knoxville (only like 2,700 this year)... many have to pick between those two games and Nashville has become more and more popular as the years go by. Just expensive as hell to stay downtown but flights are cheap. Opposite of Knoxville I guess. Title: Re: Hello Vols Post by: VinnieVOL on September 20, 2018, 09:49:53 EDT Just saw where UF took only 2600 of their 7500 allotment of visiting tickets. Looks to be one of the lowest-attended UT/UF games by UF fans that I can recall.
UT students requested a few thousand over their 11,000 allotment. Tony, I'm taking a wild guess that you are the Tony who replied to the tweet I got this information from about two hours ago? Title: Re: Hello Vols Post by: PirateVOL on September 20, 2018, 10:00:28 EDT I am not - we were planning on going to Nashville for the Vanderbilt game but decided to take it easy on away games this season. light weightI think that has been part of the drop off in Gator fans travelling to Knoxville (only like 2,700 this year)... many have to pick between those two games and Nashville has become more and more popular as the years go by. His next game is in Starkville..Doh! Can you imagine those cowbells and how loud they will be. That will be a tough W for him.
