Are there going to be 3 ACC one seeds?

I think it might open the door for us.  All we have to do is win the SECT.   :naughty:

Well don't let me be a negative Nellie, but MSU is no pushover. Neutral court this time. "IF" we survive, then maybe. But Bridgestone will be 75% blue. Until we do it, I won't hold my breath.

No. 2 ACC ones, Gonzaga will stay a 1. The one up for grabs is going to be taken by either UK or UT

IF we win the SECT, we should be a 1. Should.

UVa is probably the only team that is guaranteed a 1 seed, win or lose this weekend.

Gonzaga is a 3 loss team against a very weak schedule. Their last "quality" win came against Washington at home on 12/5, and even that one might be a stretch. We beat them head to head. If they're still a one seed, then so are we. I think they're a 2, maybe even a 3.

As I said the other day, the bracketologists have shown their double standard with Duke and UNC this year. Duke loses without Zion, and they brush it off as if it doesn't count, leaving them on the 1 line. But at the same time, they give UNC credit for a huge win (they moved up from the 3 line to the 1 after beating Duke the first time). If Duke's loss is diminished, then so is UNC's win. You can't have it both ways. Regardless, at least one of these two has to lose this weekend. I don't think they're both going to get a 1 seed.

At least one of the two BIG contenders (UM and MSU) has to lose this weekend.

And if we win the SECT, that will mean that we will have outlasted both UK and LSU, if not beat them outright.

Bottom line, I think we're a 1 seed if we win the tourney.

Last I saw, Dook had been dropped to a 2 by Lunardi.  Let's see if Zion really shows up for the ACC tourney.  if not, no way is Dook a 1.  but with him they may win it.

True, but we crushed them.  I am not that worried about MSU, and they may even not make it to our game.

Of course, St. Mary's just beat Gonzaga by double digits after losing by 46 to them earlier in the year, but I'm not that worried about MSU.   :powert:
