Title: I'm sorry. I just don't buy how "complex" a basketball offense is. Post by: SmokeyJoe on December 29, 2019, 12:07:32 EST They weave & go to the open spot on the floor. Set picks, and screens. My god! People make it out to be rocket science. Play Vescovi immediately! :powert:

Post by: Black Diamond Vol on December 29, 2019, 12:28:06 EST Clearly we need scorers and distributors, and I’m sure he could help. But is it worth using up a full season’s worth of eligibility for a half-season of play, in a year when the postseason is probably just a pipe dream?

Post by: Tnphil on December 29, 2019, 05:19:38 EST Barnes said in his presser that we have to have better guard play (Duh) and this kid wants to play. Barnes said they have a week off to see if they can get him ready and where he is.

Post by: JeffCountyVolFan on December 29, 2019, 05:30:38 EST I’m torn on using a year of his eligibility, but this team needs a point guard in the worst way. At this point, a bid to the NIT looks like a long shot but I’m hoping for a turnaround and strong close to the season and conference play.
I think that if the kid can help, you have to use him. Never give up, don’t ever give up. |
