Title: Shouldn't basketball be starting soon?
Post by: Black Diamond Vol on October 22, 2020, 09:07:25 EDT
I was wondering about our schedule this year- but all the official UTAD site shows is a 1/30 game vs. Kansas. I get that it's all probably in flux, but they would normally starting in the next couple weeks. Shouldn't they have some idea of a start date by now? :dunno:

Starts Nov 25

Retirement Rick stated in his zoom conference yesterday they are still attempting to fill out their schedule to add back in games that were deleted by the NCAA mandated late start.
The only one of the original big 3 teams it looks like we will play will be Gonzaga but when is still not known
We will play Kansas in TBA

The bubble burst.

I read that a couple of the sites demanded that if any one person on a team tested positive, the entire team (players, etc.) was out. Several of the teams rightfully felt that it was too big of a burden to travel there and take that chance that they might have traveled there for nothing.

Of course I see where all of KY's transfers coming in are eligible already. Can't wait to beat them twice or three times.

Off  topic but....I read this morning that with the Big 10 starting this weekend they have no open dates built in and if a player or coach test positive they are gone for 3 weeks...period, dot. Even if they test false positive like Saban they are gone for 3 weeks along with contacts....Good luck with that.
