I can’t blame any kid who chooses to go elsewhere, though. If you look at the quality of play this year, it wouldn’t really impress very many top athletes imo. We are a basketball school anyway! If we put off the inevitable for another year (and we will), next year’s class will be even worse. Which means that even with a new coach, we’re probably looking at 2023 or 2024 before we’re even semi-competitive. And that’s assuming the new coach is an actual good hire- which, let’s face it, is going out on a limb. Because our hiring record is less than optimal.

I have been for staff changes only, but for the right hire would support relieving Pruitt of his responsibilities. We can't afford two bad classes in a row. That's how far our program has been allowed to sink. Pruitt needs to go tonight, and our alleged AD who couldn't find his ass with both hands when it comes to administering an SEC athletic department needs to be right beside him.
