According to Basilio Vandy has 47 players available. "Vanderbilt is down to 47 scholarship players. Of the 47 the guess here is that the number of guys fully healthy to play is in the high 30's. Vanderbilt had to shift personnel on their d line just to come up with enough D lineman to play the game. They have two linebackers that will play in the game that are under 180 pounds." I think Tennessee wants to playBoth from an administration (there are possible future financial benefits at stake) and players (who demonstrated they have not given up) 3-7 is better than 2-6 |
