A lot of the old time greats have passed this year........Bob Gibson, Tom Seaver, Lou Brock, Joe Morgan, Al Kaline, Don Larson, Dick Allen, Whitey Ford, Jay Johnstone, Glenn Beckert, Bob Lee, Dennis Menke, Jim Wynn, Bob Oliver Ron Perranoski, Matt Keogh, Biff Pocoroba {You are not a Braves fan if you don't remember him), Claudell Washington, Bob Watson (another every Braves fan should know) and managers Jim Frey, John McNamara, Eddie Kasko and Bobby Winkles. Many of these were not greats but any kid that was a baseball fan in the '70's most of them are household names. There were many more that I didn't list. What a sad year?
