In college baseball you can't block the plate/base until you are in possession of the baseball. Pavs had a bad game today, but he did everything right on that play. It clearly looked to me like he was way too high on the tag. To me, the runner easily slid right under it. I thought he was going to be out easily when he caught the baseball. In college baseball you can't block the plate/base until you are in possession of the baseball. Pavs had a bad game today, but he did everything right on that play.
