Title: It didn't matter at the time, and it didn't matter in the end... Post by: Black Diamond Vol on October 02, 2021, 09:44:58 EDT ...but that last 4th down turnover on downs ruling in the endzone was atrocious. What if it HAD mattered?

To not even review the play? I know the game is a runaway, but really? Also, maybe I have the rules wrong, but it seemed like a clear case of intentional grounding on the first play of Mizzou's second drive. The QB was out of the pocket, but CLEARLY threw the ball at least 1 yd short of the LOS. The pass may have been toward a rcvr, but they were 15yds away. That would have been a huge loss. Also, on Mizzou's last drive (I think) they had a little fake handoff QB rollout jump pass type of play that got them a 3rd down conversion. Not only was one of their lineman FIVE yds downfield or more, he engaged one of our d-backs or LBs. How can you miss such an obvious illegal man downfield penalty? Just fukking insane. I have my doubts that it will help, but at least force them to watch it.

I watched a bit of it, but turned the channel after the USC player blew the fumble return TD. That was classic, BTW. :dielaughing: Title: Re: It didn't matter at the time, and it didn't matter in the end... Post by: PirateVOL on October 03, 2021, 02:35:31 EDT What happened?
