Need better clock management Defensively we have had two TOs that led to 14 points However we had a stupid penalty and our run defense hasn’t been as good, though Harris is a darn good back Secondary needs to tighten up their coverages and be more consistent Score 21, or more in the 2nd half Keep more people from getting hurt and get ready for the fireworks next Saturday night Title: Re: 1st half thoughts Post by: BanditVol on October 09, 2021, 07:57:54 EDT I guess we will see Milton again at some point. Looks like Hooker is it for this season and next, but he could be injured, and we need Milton ready in case he does. Yep. saban would be raving about that on the sidelines (then again, that's mostly on the coaches). Never take a play off, ever. Breeds bad habits. I'm really pissed about the fake punt. Yep. Second week in a row special teams gives up a big play. It's gone from a strength to a big concern. The ST coach needs to lay off the chili for a week maybe and just coach em up. We lined up in a 4x4 on the line, two gunner defenders and JonesIf you could see coach Chili he was placing them and pointing out the positions of the SC players The left side gunner defender just never covered his guy, stayed near the LOS Jones was on the right hash and had a long way to get to the East sideline The right side gunner defender covered his guy Title: Re: 1st half thoughts Post by: Tnphil on October 09, 2021, 11:41:22 EDT That is when the other players call attention to it before the snap...Your players holler...check No.18....check No.18....I coached special teams a lot over the years. That's why I'd get my ass chewed out during sunday's film session and then I'd chewed out 11 players on Monday. :nod:
