Never did I think that this would be the outcome. Just think. If the Mets had a slightly larger lead at the All-Star break, the Braves might have not made the moves they made. But wow- this might be the most improbable title team I’ve ever seen. You don’t normally lose your best pitcher and two best position players, then deal for some other teams’ unwanted castoffs at the deadline and expect them all to play like All Stars, but that’s what happened. Now they have to re-sign some of these guys.

Tried watching Tuesday night with the Braves up 6-0, lasted about 2/3rds of an inning. :laugh: Saturday game was exciting and close, Tuesday not so much. |
