Maybe the trip to Colorado and then straight New York was too much. I've never seen so many missed shots. And a lot of them were way off. His plant foot slipped slightly and his knee buckled. He was fortunate that he didn't hyper-extend the knee on that play.

I also think Barnes teams generally improve over the year. It's a long way to March. But I am concerened by what I am hearing (I have only seen one game this year, and it was UNC :naughty:). It looked like he hit a wet spot on the floor (it was near the foul line, so that would make sense). He could have seriously injured himself there. I would not be surprised if he tweaked his knee a little. At least we were able to fight our way back to OT, but dang, we had a chance to win it in regulation, and of course, blew it. |
