Hell, it may well have been the difference in the game, in fact it was in a literal sense, though it might have played out different if they don't get those free throws. 1. How fizzleing stupid is it to foul a player on a half court shot 2. Has any team in the history of the NCAA been stupid enough to do it TWICE in the same season?
