I agree with that. Odd thing is that he had a rep as a good recruiter at La Tech. But that was wrong. Interesting thing....Dooley and Jones both analysts at bama, Pruitt came from bama and can't even get an analyst job now. If that doesn't sum up UT football the last decade, I don't know what does. :banghead: And our other former coach was OC at bama for a while, and is the only one of the four since Fulmer that has found some success as HC. Of course, we didn't fire him. But when you take an analyst job, you are clearly retooling your career for whatever reason. Jones will be an analyst again before long, or maybe coaching Pee Wee league footbal. What a craptastic run of coaches! Worst in the modern era of UT, if not ever. We had some shizzle teams before Neyland, but does that even count? probably not. |
