Barkley had a few interesting remarks post game: (1) Purdue's offensive game plan was 'turrble". (2) With St Peter's 3 and 4 guard offense they have controlled tempo in every game they have played in the tourney. (3) The largest deficit St Peter's has faced in the tourney is 6 points. Was only partially watching the first half, but caught most of the second. Their offensive game plan may have been "turble" but I thought they did adjust nicely with Williams in the paint. It wasn't enough unfortunately.
I hope St. Peter's wins it all. I'm sure there are a handful that had them in the Elite 8. Some of their fans did undoubtedly,and there may be a few people who did almost a random fill in for the office pool knowing nothing about basketball. But overall, not very many.
