His latest column is titled “Tennessee is better coached than Alabama”. So that should go over well outside of Knoxville. I’m sure it won’t be plastered in the bammer locker room or anything. :rolleyes:

If Alabama has to look for motivation in something written by a newspaper columnist with no real connection to the team, my guess is that we're in pretty good shape. It's easy for a coach to rally his players around something another team's coach or player(s) said. But something a two-bit newspaper columnist wrote? Like I said, if Alabama is having to reach that deep into the well for motivation, they have issues. |
