The biggest part of this is how stupid Saban looks. The morning SECN show with Doering and Burns had a HS coach from bama call in and complain and say it would hurt bama, and he was a bama fan. Yeah, which makes it even more mystifying. Someone said Saban just wanted to be contrarian. Less politely put, he is (as usual) telling the media and any critics to fizzle off. It's NOT a good look. It never is, but at least when he rants about "rat poison" everyone gets that he is trying to protect his team in a good way.
