Don't forget that Auburn boosters were trying to sink this ship during the offseason. They effectively sabotaged Harsin. The national media still crows about Schiano Sunday, but at least our fan base wasn't undermining an active coach. The Auburn coup was far, far worse. Regardless, 1.5 years in is pretty ridiculous when viewed from 10,000 feet. They tried to get him on cause last year but failed. He fired a WR coach unexpectedly in midseason which caused a lot of grief, and for some reason Bo Nix, the son of a legendary QB at Auburn, transferred. That would be like if Shuler's son was good enough to start for us but transferred. And Nix is tearing it up at Oregon, which has to stick in the gall of Auburn fans (payback for Bruce though! Hellya!) So he has contributed to the situation for sure, but...Auburn's handling of it? Just dam! :crazy: :wtf: :laugh: |
