UGA Ohio state Tennessee Michigan 2 - UT wins out, USC loses, Ohio state loses, TCU loses UGA Michigan Tennessee Ohio state 3 - UT wins out, USC wins, Michigan wins, TCU loses UGA Michigan Tennessee USC 4 - UT wins out, USC wins, Ohio state wins, TCU loses UGA Ohio state Tennessee USC 5 - UT wins out, USC wins, Ohio State wins, TCU wins UGA Ohio state TCU Tennessee 6 - UT wins out, LSU wins out, Ohio State wins, TCU wins,, USC loses Ohio State TCU Tennessee LSU 7 - UT wins out, TCU wins, USC wins, Michigan wins UGA Michigan TCU Tenn or USC? To me there is very little chance UT doesn't make the playoff, with the only chance being if USC, TCU, and Michigan win. That last space would go to USC or UT then, and it would be dicey. We also do not want LSU taking a spot. So we need to root for UGA to win out, TCU to lose to someone, and Ohio state to beat Michigan IMO. The worst case would be LSU winning out.

I’m not saying that I think they should be, only that they could be.
