I'd bet he's not writing tickets on I-40. I suspect there may be a special detail of troopers for official duties. Could be wrong. UT definitely has the squarest jawed trooper in all of college football! The rest of the game day law enforcement inside the stadium is an eclectic mix of various agencies...even game wardens. The guy who became a meme when he caught the game-winning FG kick in the Alabama game is a friend of mine who is a wildlife officer assigned to the North Cumberland WMA.
