Title: some notes on our Rivals rating Post by: BanditVol on August 03, 2023, 06:58:07 EDT We are the highest we have been since the Butch back to back no. 5 clasess of 2014-2015. Of course, this may not hold up.
But We have fewer selections than most, definitely fewer than the two teams ahead of us and our average star rating of 3.84 is second only to Uga and OSU (currently 1-2). This is in stark contrast to past years, in which we would have more selections and a lower star rating and so could anticipate dropping. Disclaimer...I know ratings are not everything and can often be wrong, but they are not completely wrong, there is definitely a statistical correlation between recruiting ratings and succes. Thus we need to do as well as we can, and this is looking to be our best class since 2015, and it seems pretty likely to be better.
