Title: Reading early practice reports, some thoughts Post by: VinnieVOL on August 03, 2023, 05:26:03 EDT Really excited about our offensive weapons! We have leadership and experience coupled with young talent at virtually every skill position.
I think Milton is gonna have a great year. Perfect situation to allow Nico to learn and grow for a year. WR group possibly more talented than last year, after losing the biletnikoff winner. :loco: Love our RB group. TE should be solid led by sure handed Warren, but they’re saying this Freshman Okoye is an absolute freak. Just imagining what kinda stuff coach is gonna draw up for this guy. On defense, I’m most excited about the fact that it sounds like we are finally starting to have some real SEC depth at linebacker. I’m very excited! :hi5: Title: Re: Reading early practice reports, some thoughts Post by: SmokeyJoe on August 04, 2023, 01:56:33 EDT Agree with all. I think Milton is ready.

Offense will be hard to top last years but I hope to see better run game. Also will be interesting to see how well Milton prepares week to week. Heupel's offense is sneaky in that it actually does a lot of running. We averaged 200 yards per game and 5 yards per carry last year. But I agree....let's hope it improves, that would be amazing. :powert: |
