Title: Didn't we have high hopes for Juwan Mitchell?.....
Post by: droner on August 09, 2023, 05:04:04 EDT
Didn't everyone?

Committed to Rutgers, went to Texas for two years, transferred to Tennessee where he played one year and led the team in tackles, transferred to Arizona State and now dismissed by Arizona State.

Some guys can't help but screw up their futures.

He led TEXAS in tackles, not Tennessee.  He never really panned out at Tennessee.  In 2022 he was 7th, and in 2021 he was 24th (but out most of season with injury).  Let's not give him too much credit, although I guess you could say 7th is a legit starter performance in the SEC, so not terrible.

But definitely never led us in tackles...
