I guess it will be shelved for eternity. According to the article the network is using its same theme music for Big Ten games, seven of which it will air this season. I think that the last hangup was that CBS wouldn't give in to the SEC on the scheduling of games. CBS wanted to put a hold on games and not finalize the time until late in the week. That's a pain for fans and for the teams. Under the ABC/ESPN contract, "Kickoff times for more than half of the league?s games will be announced before the season and those that are flexed will only move one slot (morning to afternoon or afternoon to evening)." That's a better deal. Also, now all SEC games will be under one network. (Even though it's really two. :biggrin: ) It will interesting to see which games get the higher ratings.
