2) If he does depart, who (Derek Mason fanboy here) takes his place? 3) Are there any ramifications if this unlikely event occurs? My preference would be Alex Grinch (he and Heup were on the Mizzou staff together 1 year) Did well as the DC at OU Zach Arnett would be a 2nd choice Never been a fan of Derek Mason. Coaches need to get off the friend train and hire the best candidate available. Friend hires tend to be let hang around too long if they don't produce. Won't fire them because they're a friend.
