Fleshes out: His growth spurt (why he can play a bit of point as he started as a PG) His work ethic, seeking ctriticism (still calls his JC coach all the time for example and his dad critiques every game) The trust that Barns has in him (showed DK clips of Durant and how he got to the basket, we saw the results Tuesday night of that session and the work that DK put in to improve) That Santi and Josiah demanded he shoot the ball more Title: Re: For those that subscribe to the Athletic, nice article on DK Post by: Black Diamond Vol on January 19, 2024, 05:40:39 EST Hypothetically speaking, if DK keeps putting up these kinds of numbers and leads us farther than we?ve ever been before this March, where would he rank among the all-time best to ever play at UT? IMO if he?s not #1 it?s only because of longevity, or lack thereof. It?s hard to compare a 1 year guy to a 3-4 year guy. But, no disrespect to Ernie, Bernie, C-Lo, or Grant- DK is doing things we?ve never seen in Knoxville. And if he leads us to a FF or beyond it may be time to put him in that discussion.
