Post by: Black Diamond Vol on August 28, 2024, 11:30:54 EDT We?ll see how it performs with 100k there. Now I just wish they could boost the towers in the surrounding area on gamedays. Modern tailgate parties require more bandwidth than ever, and it usually dies around 3-4 hours before kickoff.

IT wasn't bad last yearThere were occasions when it slowed down but even for games like uga it was adequate Title: Re: Neyland wifi a full go! I was able to watch various other games on my phone all season. Never would?ve been possible before. Title: Re: Neyland wifi a full go! Is it strong enough to run a wifi hotspot from my phone to stream games on a Roku TV? I plan on trying that this year (I'll probably only be in Knoxville for one game, though). Post by: PirateVOL on August 31, 2024, 04:48:58 EDT I. The 4th quarter I?ll be tuning in to the swamp
I?m rooting g for meteor but failing that, go visitors Title: Re: Neyland wifi a full go! Post by: murfvol on August 31, 2024, 05:48:54 EDT Gotta disagree here Pirate. I want UF to have a mediocre year (7 wins?) because I do not want Kiffin down there.

I?m talking outside, within about a 1 mile radius. That?s been a problem forever. Title: Re: Neyland wifi a full go! Post by: PirateVOL on September 01, 2024, 04:36:36 EDT I didn?t spend all that much time outside the stadium on the phone
Doubt it is improved though The full WiFi in the stadium was fantastic Best of any stadium I?ve been in, including pro stadiums Title: Re: Neyland wifi a full g Post by: VinnieVOL on September 02, 2024, 05:44:36 EDT I didn?t spend all that much time outside the stadium on the phone Doubt it is improved though The full WiFi in the stadium was fantastic Best of any stadium I?ve been in, including pro stadiums Agreed, WiFi in stadium was truly fantastic. It seems like a minor thing, but before this I couldn?t do anything on my phone during games? when the stadium filled up I would lose all communication with the outside world through Verizon. Simple things like texting a buddy ?did you see that play?!? or checking scores I can now do. Title: Re: Neyland wifi a full g Post by: BanditVol on September 05, 2024, 06:47:37 EDT Agreed, WiFi in stadium was truly fantastic. I had to keep telling him I could barely hear him and he just ignored me. I finally just told him I was hanging up. |
