I heard the other day that they've been tossing that idea between the two schools for years, but neither school wants to be the first road team in such a scenario. Why? Because it would require a penalty to be called on the visiting team at the beginning of each half and the home team declining the penalty. And neither coach has ever trusted the other to decline it. :laugh: Obviously the easy fix would be for the NCAA or the SEC (whichever has jurisdiction here) to waive the penalty requirement and just let them wear what they want. I have heard the white jerseys for visiting teams date to the time of black and white TV.
