What is up with the ladies? Is the luster wearing off? This could be the problem: Tennessee sent out its 16th different starting lineup of the season on Thursday, with Jewel Spear, Samara Spencer, Zee Spearman, Talaysia Cooper and Alyssa Latham opening the contest against the Commodores. Spencer carded her 29th start, while Cooper etched her 27th. Spearman started her 23rd game, while Spear notched her 22nd and Latham added her fifth of the season. Ten different players have been in the starting lineup for the Big Orange in 2024-25. Come on coach, figure out your talent! Hard to get any consistency this way. Hopefully she wins a couple of games in the NCAA's. Or more. Surprise us Lady Vols.

The team is talented but not top-notch talented. She was able to cobble together a pretty good team in a short amount of time.

The real test comes in the next couple of years when her recruits come in.

First year with pretty much an inherented team. New system for these ladies. I for one love this coach and think she is going to be fine. When they are ?on? they are fun to watch. I believe coach will get them there.

I think they just ran out of gas at the end of the season. They run this uptempo style, and they are neither athletic enough nor well-conditioned enough to sustain it for a full season. They'll have a couple weeks off before NCAAT play starts, so that can only help. But I don't expect them to get past the first weekend.

The real rebuild of this roster begins next year.

Sure did fizzle the last 3 weeks. First time ever losing to Vandy twice in a season....And Kellie Harper never lost to Vandy. Not a great look for CKC.

Agree!  First year has been a pretty good success, if you ask me.

Like BDV said, they've just ran out of steam.

Kim has said she wasn't prepared for the physicallity of the SEC
She has and will change practice routines going forward
It was a learning experience, she and the team will learn from this season

It's very hard running this system and practicing easy. She might have to sweek her system some. She found out she's not at Marshall any longer.
