I can see that. Especially for older movies/shows that may be deemed "offensive" by today's thought police. Disney has zapped several of their older films from all streaming platforms. And even more recent shows like The Office and South Park have seen certain episodes disappeared. You want to see this stuff and assure you'll have it forever, you buy it on physical media. I've got 45's and 78's that would stack to the ceiling...but I don't have a turntable to play them anymore.
I wish I still had my 1970's big console with the colored TV on one end and the super high 5 stereo...turntable...8 track player on the other end. That was the prettiest piece of furniture in my house and it was the size of the dresser in our bedroom. :laugh: |
