Our program was put in a difficult situation, and he was willing to come here anyway. I just don't see the point in dogging the kid before he even takes snap for us. And if he balls out this season, it will be one of the greatest stories in CFB in several years. Potentially to most "feel good" story of the NIL/portal era. So should at least be exciting, for better or for worse. :dunno:
Title: Re: Aguilar vs Clemson Post by: Tnphil on April 24, 2025, 06:21:59 EDT If Aguilar starts this season he will have the weakest arm since Heupel has been here.
Title: Re: Aguilar vs Clemson Post by: Black Diamond Vol on April 24, 2025, 07:09:24 EDT If Aguilar starts this season he will have the weakest arm since Heupel has been here. But of his three starters thus far, the guy with the weakest arm was also by far the best QB. :dunno: HH wasn't exactly Elway in the arm strength department. Is JA's arm comparable to HH? I don't know, but Heupel must think it's strong enough, or he wouldn't have taken him. Title: Re: Aguilar vs Clemson Post by: Tnphil on April 26, 2025, 03:42:08 EDT If you throw it into tight windows like he loves to do....you best have a some arm strength. It's one reason he's had so many INTs.
