I was listening to the FSU broadcast on the way home just now, and there's no comparison. We're very lucky to have him. They have changed things up based on what I heard. Tuned in to the kickoff call in show Saturday and no Keith....and the Heupel post game locker room show was not done by Keith which Bob always did.
Bob was a nice guy who just wasn't very good calling football....He also had an impossible job of following a legend. We will never know...but have a feeling he was quietly told to retire. A crescendo works because it rises above the norm, not because it's standard.
However, I'll give him a shot. My problem with Bob's delivery is I literally had no clue what transpired. |
