He learned at the foot of the master, and it shows. A lot of John Ward in his delivery.

I was listening to the FSU broadcast on the way home just now, and there's no comparison. We're very lucky to have him.

Sorry, but I just dont think his announcing is good in the least.  His incessant screaming is extremely annoying.  JMHO.

Is there a way to listen to previous games on demand?  Hell, even maybe some of the Ward broadcasts?

I listened to Titans games on the radio over the years as much as anyone....I wasn't a big fan of Keith's loud... dramatic style. They have changed things up based on what I heard. Tuned in to the kickoff call in show Saturday and no Keith....and the Heupel post game locker room show was not done by Keith which Bob always did.

Bob was a nice guy who just wasn't very good calling football....He also had an impossible job of following a legend. We will never know...but have a feeling he was quietly told to retire.

Like TRO, I was not a fan of Mike's work with Titans due to every call being at 11 (Spinal Tap scale). A crescendo works because it rises above the norm, not because it's standard.

However, I'll give him a shot. My problem with Bob's delivery is I literally had no clue what transpired.
