I don't agree with all of it, but he makes some good points. Among them: 1. We only had 92 rush yards, but it was a season high vs. the bammer D. Considering how our run game was vs. uga two weeks ago, I will count this as a positive. 2. Worley is a distraction. I agree. Let's focus on beating USCe and let the coaches figure out how. 3. He says it's irrational to judge Dooley so far, given what a mess our team is in (I agree, but that does not mean don't criticize at all, IMO) 4. He says it's irrational to judge Simms against two of the best, if not the best, defenses in the country. And I definitely agree with his final point..... And the Vols can put something together that's going to look better next week and give themselves a chance to win. Whether that's through Simms or Worley or both, don't miss the forest for the trees. Because the forest needs our support right now. |
