Has CDD and staff been recruiting offensive guys that fit the big 12? Defensive guys that fit the big 10?

You look at this team, on offense we're more of a big 12 type team. Passing first, shotgun draws, score a lot of points vs other bad defenses.

You look at the defense, the defense looks like a Big 10 defense. Big, slow LBs. Slow, bigger secondary guys.

I swear we'd fit into those leagues with our personnel a lot better this year. The problem is, we play in the SEC, land of big physical linemen, fast skill players, and fast defenses. In short, the SEC is NFL - lite. Not surprisingly more SEC guys make the league than any other.

You look at the incoming class, we have guys like Zanca, Barnes, Goeas.... big 10 defense. It's true CDD and staff have done a good job building up the class....but we're not winning against the SEC guys. Maybe it's because we're playing big 12 offense against SEC defense, and Big 10 defense vs SEC offense.

I think he's been recruiting whoever he can.

Maybe our problem is that we play big 12 south offense and big 10 sky defense

Which is just another way of saying we are poorly coached and not getting in enough talent.
