It isn't like calimari is the only coach in america who would sell his soul for a championship. That being the case, something really bad has to be going on at kentucky.
Title: Re: UK fans think Andrew Wiggins, nation's #1 hoops recruit, is theirs Post by: Volznut on May 14, 2013, 04:24:21 EDT I doubt anything "illegal" is going on. Shady, sleazy, but not illegal. UK is an NBA farm team, and as long as the NBA has this one year minimum rule, they will do this every year.

I have no doubts that Cal has broken many a rule in the past, but I don't think he needs to anymore. He has a reputation as THE one-and-done coach, and between that and the Kentucky brand he has no need to go shady. It's the rule that sucks and desperately needs to be changed. This the the same neighbor that said I had better be glad Louisville beat them early, because we sure would not want to see them in the tournament. Turns out he was right on that one, we did not want to see them in the tournament since we would have had to decline the NCAA bid in favor of the NIT. He also said this was the weakest NCAA field in history, and if Nerlens had not gotten hurt, UK would have easily won the title. I love living in KY, you meet the nicest folks. |
